Welcome!
I write about how members of the African diasapora and continental Africans negotiate and understand their interactions with ethnic and racial others.
I am writing a book about growing up Nigerian in Chicago.
I am also the lead investigator on the Project on African Immigrants in Nursing (PAIN). I have been working with students to recruit and conduct in-depth qualitative interviews with first- and second- generation African nursing students and registered nuraes. They also helped transcribe and code the interview data as well as analyze survey and social media data.
Last but not least, I am writing about blackness in Korean dramas.
